Neew is made by one person, so support is one email address and no ticket number. Tell me what happened and what you expected instead — that is almost always enough to find it.

Bugs, questions, refunds, account deletion, or an idea for what Neew should do next.

Helps a lot Three lines

Your iPhone model and iOS version, what you tapped, and what happened. A screenshot beats a description.

The questions that come up

An item is stuck on “reading the page”.

Neew reads pages in the foreground, so a capture that arrived while the app was closed only starts when you next open it. If it stays stuck, open the item and choose Summarise and tag to run it again. Nothing is lost in the meantime — the item is already saved and already searchable.

A link saved as “needs sign-in”.

That is a page that wants an account, not a failure. Open it in Neew's own browser, sign in there once, and save it again — every later capture from that site inherits the session.

Search isn't finding something I know I saved.

Neew searches by keyword always, and by meaning when the on-device language model is available on your phone. Settings tells you which is active. Meaning-based search also crosses languages — a Portuguese question can find an English article — but only once that model has downloaded.

My voice note came back in the wrong language.

Neew picks the language from what it hears. If it picked wrong, the transcript is still editable — and telling me which language and which phrase it mangled is genuinely useful.

How do I get my Apple Notes in?

Apple gives no app access to Notes, so Neew goes through Shortcuts, which does have it. Build one shortcut — Find Notes → Repeat → Add to Neew — and point a daily automation at it. Running it again is safe: unchanged notes are skipped, edited ones are updated.

What happens if I don't subscribe?

Capture, storage, reading, and keyword search are never locked. A subscription pays for the parts that cost money per use — summaries, tags, briefings, and chat. Your own API key does the same job, because then you're paying the provider directly.

How do I move to a new phone?

Back up on the old one (Settings → Backup), sign in on the new one, and restore. Recordings and saved pages come with it only if the iCloud mirror was on; that one is off by default.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Account → Delete account removes the account and the backup together. Deleting the app removes the library from the device. Neither needs to go through me, but write if something doesn't work.

Subscriptions and refunds

Neew Plus is billed by Apple, not by me. Manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone; cancelling keeps it active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are Apple's to give — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple says no and you think it's unfair, tell me.

Privacy

What stays on your phone, what leaves it, and what deleting your account actually deletes are all set out in the privacy policy.
